Our initial post may have come as a surprise to many of you. In some ways, keeping it to ourselves made it all a little less real. Despite navigating many extraordinary appointments and procedures over the years, we’ve still tried to hang on to ‘ordinary’ life for as long as possible. Thank you for understanding our need to hold information close, allowing us time to get our heads and hearts around new realities. It has been a difficult and emotional journey, and in many ways we are just beginning.

As we begin this blog journey together, we intend to answer frequently asked questions, provide medical updates, and share pictures and various thoughts from each of our perspectives – you’ll be hearing from all of us! Knowing we have a supportive community of family and friends supporting us makes a tremendous difference.
