Hi Everyone!!!
Finally, the news we have all been waiting for! Jordan hit Day 100, Saturday. Day 100 is a special mark for Bone Marrow Transplant survivors because it means that they are in the clear to not have any high risk infections or diseases or rejections that can come out of having a transplant.
At our appointment Friday, our doctor stated it was okay for us to go home! She has set up multipe going home testing such as CT scans, lung function test and over all blood draws to make sure the cells are still engrafted and how much they are growing.
As you can imagine we are super excited to not have to share a room together lol but also to be with Jayden and our dog, Prince and have a kitchen and microwae, fridge, stove ((seriously, who actually WANTS to cook)). But I do! Real food finally!
We are having a surprise welcome home parade for Jordan Saturday Oct 3. Line up will begin at Norton Commons Elementary School on the Kings Crown Dr side. Please feel free to come out, decorate your cars and welcome Jordan on his big milestone!
Once again we appreciate the prayers and support. The prayers are definitely working and the support is amazing. Seriously don’t know how I could have managed this without everyones help, You made this hard time easier to go through.
Last day to order Tshirts is Thursday. We won’t be relaunching this one. Please feel free to wear shorts Saturday at the parade! Hope to see you there!
Love,
Julie and Jordan
