Great news! It’s been a roller coaster ride the past couple years. Kaylin has been a trooper. She has been plugging along with school and horseback riding, plus socializing and doing what normal teens do. We had been aiming for transplant in Summer, 2020 and had been working on finalizing a donor…. all while Kaylin slowly deteriorated. She was more sick, more tired.. all the time. Then COVID-19 happened. We hunkered down and just hoped for the best. The good news is that everything seems to be falling into place! Transplant is scheduled for end of June!
