Surgery

April 16

Thank you everyone for your prayers and support! I am blessed to have a strong and selfless wife who puts our daughter life over hers. Good news, the surgeons were able to use Grace’s left quadrant of her liver to transplant to our daughter Norah.Grace is currently resting and recuperating at Emory Hospital transplant inpatient unit. Norah is currently at CHOA Egleston PICU where she will be closely monitor and care for. Please continue to pray for their recovery and for Norah’s body to accept Grace’s liver with no complications.

Praise the Lord for healing, comfort, peace, and providing us the support we needed from friends and family during this challenging times. I am getting discharged from the hospital today! Norah is out of the ICU. The gift of life through organ donation is amazing! Norah is recovering well and her jaundice is clearing up. We can’t wait to see her meeting her milestones and feeling great again. On Monday Norah will be in the OR once again to close up her belly (right now it is open and covered with a mesh). We appreciate more prayers for smooth recovery. Thank you everyone!
