As I lay here snuggled up next to this precious girl (who will kill me one day for posting this pic
) my heart is filled with hope, excitement, fear and sorrow!! Who knew you could have so many emotions at the same time. At 1:38am this morning I got the call that they have the perfect heart for Sarah!!

At 1:38am this morning I got the call that they have the perfect heart for Sarah!!I can’t believe today is the day!! No specific time yet, but here are some specific prayer requests:
– Sarah to be calm and have peace. She’s scared (as would be expected).
– The surgery and transplant team. The doctors, the flight to procure the heart, the nurses – everyone involved!!
– The family who’s had a tragic day and while having to make impossible decisions, choose life for others!
– Jerry and I, I have had 2 hours sleep!!
Thank you all so much for your support, the real journey is just beginning. We know the Lord is in control and has this!
