Taylor had a good evening. She slept most of the night after having a little spa day in her room yesterday. Therapeutic team came and gave her legs a massage and charge nurse washed and rebraided her hair.
This morning her team was confident that they could move her from the PICU to the Endo Unit. In true TJ fashion as soon as they went to move her, TJs sugars started to tank. Once they got her glucose steady again they went ahead and moved her to her new room. Within an hour of being on the unit they have her on an insulin pump and a diabetes educator was in the room showing us how to install TJs first Dexcom. Been quite the day as now her sugars are showing high and TJs feeling it more.
Heres to hoping for a good night and that tomorrow is a better day.
