It seems like the abdominal swelling is finally going down a little, and Wesley has started to feel better. For most of the day he’s been back to his smiley, talkative self, so that’s been great to see.

It sounds like we will likely have to spend at least one more night in the hospital, and then we’ll have to take him down to Atlanta next week for a follow-up that might lead to another hospital stay.

We’re asking for prayer for wisdom as we face the reality of repeated hospital stays and appointments over the coming months. Until he gets the transplant, this will be a regular occurrence, and while both of us have fairly flexible jobs, we need wisdom to figure out how to balance everything.
