Update on Zach: He’s doing well and returned to school on Monday, April 6. He’ll be heading back to Columbus on May 12 for four days of testing. During this visit, doctors will evaluate how the transplanted islet cells are functioning, along with checking to see how everything is healing up from the surgery.
