Yolanda Treviño

Yolanda Treviño joined the COTA Board of Directors in 2019. She has been actively involved on the Finance and Audit Committee. Yolanda chose to serve on COTA’s Board of Directors for a number of reasons, some of which are highlighted here. “When I was asked to fill the term of a COTA Board Member who needed to step down, I enthusiastically agreed. Serving on COTA’s Board of Directors gives me the opportunity to serve transplant-needy children and their families at a very vulnerable time in their lives. COTA’s mission is rooted in helping to ease significant stressors for families and children facing transplants; COTA’s assistance is available to families before, during and after the surgery occurs. This organization fills an important need in our society.”

Yolanda Treviño is an Assistant Vice President for Strategy, Planning and Assessment in the Office of Diversity, Equity and Multicultural Affairs for Indiana University and has been for since 2015. Dr. Treviño holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Baylor University in Texas, a Master’s degree in Sociology from Northern Illinois University in Dekalb, Illinois, and a Doctorate degree in Higher Education from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.

She lives in Bloomington, Indiana.
