Happy #GivingTuesday!
This joint effort was created as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. In 2024, GivingTuesday raised roughly $3.6 billion in 24 hours in the United States, which benefitted organizations and community campaigns of all sizes.
Here are 5 things you can do TODAY to participate in GivingTuesday:
- Announce on social media that your COTA community campaign is participating in GivingTuesday today.
- Share the link to your COTA campaign website throughout the day and ask your friends and family to share the link, too. There is no such thing as ‘too many posts’ on this annual day of giving!
- Write and share a blog post about why your COTA community campaign is participating in GivingTuesday. Be sure to check out our GivingTuesday resources and templates!
- Create a Facebook Fundraiser to raise funds for COTA in honor of your local patient. Remember to send language to CampaignInfo@cota.org for review and approval before publishing the fundraiser.
- Share campaign website links and social media posts from other COTA community campaigns. Use #COTAHope to join the community!
