TPIAT surgery is scheduled for March 29th.  We had a little hiccup/scare last week.  Alex had a recheck with the transplant surgeon and GI specialist Thursday and began having excruciating pain, nausea, and finally vomiting while in the waiting room.  We were all pretty worried another bout of pancreatitis had snuck up on us, (if so, surgery would be pushed back by 6 weeks) so Alex ended up being admitted.  Wonderful news though-at this point, no pancreatitis!!  

He is still having breakthrough pain and nausea, and does have a nasty sinus infection.  He had a CT Scan Friday, endoscopy with biopsies and new nj tube are being done today, and it is looking very hopeful that surgery will be as planned!!

Everyone has been absolutely wonderful, and our family is blown away by the love and support.
