Update on Alex-
He thoroughly enjoyed time with family this weekend; however, has had some consistent episodes of pain, nausea, vomiting, and extreme fatigue. He is not drinking anymore, and has no interest even in popsicles. He had abnormal X-rays today, and the team is wondering if his nutritional deficiency is a major factor at this point. Since his last surgery on the 20th, he has lost about 7 pounds, so calories were increased today. The team decided not to hospitalize, but is keeping a very close watch on him. We will check-in tomorrow, and pending no difficulties follow-up Thursday with Surgery, GI, Endocrine, and tentatively have pyloric Botox scheduled Friday.
