Hey guys, it’s been 1 week since our last event held at Gambino’s Pizza in Spring Hill. During the event Gambinos donated $3 for every large pizza sold from 4:30-9pm to COTA in honor of Alicia! We were also blessed to have Maria Rich from Lupita’s Kitchen there selling her delicious homemade pastries that delightfully satisfied every sweet tooth! With 40% of her sales during the event donated, Her pastries were not the only sweet thing there that evening! The community, family and friends that showed up with all their love and support was more than Amazing! We were able to raise a total of $1814.70 during the event to be donated to COTA in honor of Alicia, bringing the total raised to just over $36K!
Our group of amazing volunteers greeted people, sold merchandise and answered questions at Alicia’s booth. Our hardworking merchandise guru, Alisha Dye, put her creative hat on and designed some adorable new earrings to go with the beautiful shirts, hoodies and cups! Now we can show support and shine the #JOY of Alicia wherever we go! If you would like some merch including the new beautifully created earrings to call your own click on the merchandise link here on the COTA site place your order!
Please continue to pray for Alicia and her family, specifically that they all stay safe and healthy amid the COVID-19 pandemic. We have some info in the next blog entry on how COVID-19 affects our upcoming events in the near future! Thank you for your prayers, love and support for our girl, Alicia!
