Almost nine months ago Amanda had emergency surgery to remove most of her
small bowel. It has been a hard journey, often discouraging and overwhelming,
but in the midst of our difficulties we have also found hope. Hope that has come
from the prayers, encouraging words, and donations to COTA in honor of Amanda
from family, friends and even strangers. God has blessed us with amazing friends
and family and we are beyond grateful for the love and support they have shown
to Amanda and us. We are so appreciative of each one of you and thank you for
joining us in this journey.
