Our sweet Angelica is only 10 years old, but she has already shown more strength, kindness, and courage than most. On April 10, 2026, she received a life-saving kidney transplant—a blessing we are endlessly grateful for. Since then, she has remained in the hospital, fighting every day to heal and grow stronger.

Even through the long days and difficult moments, Angelica continues to be the same loving, respectful, and caring girl we all know. Her spirit has never wavered, and her heart continues to shine so brightly.

As she begins this new chapter, Angelica will need ongoing care, support, and accommodations to help her recover safely and comfortably at home. From medical needs to creating a healing environment for her, this journey comes with challenges we cannot face alone.

COTA is the nation’s only fundraising organization solely dedicated to raising life-saving dollars in honor of transplant-needy children and young adults. 100% of each contribution made to COTA in honor of our patients helps meet transplant-related expenses. COTA’s services are free to our families, and gifts to COTA are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
