Today marks three months since Beau received his new liver, and we are so thankful to say that his new liver is doing well.

We are still keeping up with lots of appointments, blood draws, ultrasounds, medications, therapies, and close follow-up care. But mixed in with all of that, we are getting to experience so many of the normal moments we have hoped for.
Beau is officially PICC line free and continues to be without an NG tube. He also had his first bath completely tube free in 11 months! ![]()
Our weeks may still be filled with appointments, but they are also filled with Mason and Beau playing together, trips to the park with friends, rainy days watching movies as a family, fall Saturdays watching football, trips to the zoo, and walks around our neighborhood.
And today, we celebrated three months by taking the boys to the pumpkin patch. ![]()

We get to make these memories because of Beau’s donor and their family, and because of the incredible resilience of our little boy.
There will still be challenges ahead, but we are so grateful for the support we’ve been given and for all of the thoughts, prayers, and love shared for our boy.
We are taking things one day at a time, while also getting to live, make memories, and enjoy the little things.
The second chance of life Beau was given is a gift we will never stop being thankful for.
Thank you will never be enough.
As we mark this milestone, we ask that you please keep Beau’s donor and their family in your thoughts. We know this time may hold many different emotions for them, and we are deeply grateful for the gift they gave our boy. We will always be grateful for what their family made possible for Beau.
