It has been 47 days since Alessandro journey started back at San Marcos after hours pediatric Kaiser. Since then we have been to 5 different hospitals( Kaiser San Marcos, Kaiser Clairemont, Radys Children’s, UCLA Mattel’s Children’s, and Children’s Hospital of Orange County). At the moment we are currently waiting for a bed to open up at UCLA so we can continue treatment for Alessandro.

The plan is to have the Lymphatic specialist from CHOC( Children’s Hospital of Orange County) to schedule his procedure at UCLA in hopes of stopping what is keeping us at the hospitals, his chest tube. If they can stop the chest tube output then we can wait for the heart transplant at home and not have to stay in the hospital til surgery time.

It has almost been a month since we started sharing news of the COTA for Cosita campaign and we have raised over 25% of the campaign fundraising goal.
