We have flown the coop. We finally got all our meds to take home and met with our transplant pharmacy team to go over doses and timing of each medication. We got our discharge paperwork around 3:30 PM, got serenaded by the entire Transplant Step Down Unit, and rang the bell. We are so excited for Echo’s new journey.

We will be in the Atlanta area for another 4-6 weeks depending on how well Echo does with his medications. We will have at least 2 appointments a week for the next 3 months. So lots of trips in our future, but so worth it.
