Exciting news! I’m home!

It has been a whirlwind of events lately. We have been back and forth from appointments and staying away a few days at a time and coming home when we could. The kids got to come up for one of the weekends and we adventured some local state parks around the Forsyth area.

Echo has finally been officially released to come home. We will have once a week appointments in Atlanta for labs and consultations. We will also have to, for the time being, do labs once a week closer to home (Tallahassee) as well, so he will have 2 lab draws a week.

Going forward Echo will eventually will have fewer and fewer lab draws, but we are far off from that.

He is doing really well with the medications, very active, eating well, and all his faculties are working like they should. We just have to make sure that he can keep from getting sick for the next few months, since his immune system is compromised due to his new medications.

We are thankful that we were spared from Hurricane Helene’s wrath, but we pray for those that were in its path. We know all too well with what Michael did and the damage that a hurricane of that magnitude can create.

Thank you all who have supported and prayed for Echo and continue to do so. Echo is making big strides that even amazes his doctors. We just hope that he can stay on this trend, without any major problems going forward.

Love,

The Brock’s
