Friday’s procedure went smoothly, and Evelyn is adjusting well to her new Berlin Heart system. One challenge is that the machine can only be unplugged for about 30 minutes at a time, which makes it difficult to find opportunities to get out and do things. In the coming days, we’ll be advocating for some outdoor time and fresh air.
Today was spent celebrating Father’s Day with Dad and Grandpa. It was a special day filled with family and quality time together.
This evening, Evelyn had her hair washed in the shower, which took some creative maneuvering with all of her equipment, but we made it work. Afterward, we treated ourselves to a little foot spa, and now we’re ending the night the best way possible cuddled up together watching a movie.
