Today was a pretty big day for our girl Evelyn’s first day of first grade!
Her first day looked a little different than most kids’, because she’s starting first grade through distance learning from the hospital. She had multiple subjects to choose from to start her school day, and when it was time to pick, she knew exactly what she wanted.
Her first choice was Health class, and her second choice was Science.

I love seeing her excitement about learning and watching her continue to grow, learn, and be a kid despite everything around her. She may be starting first grade from a hospital room instead of a classroom, but she is still showing up, making choices, and taking on this new adventure like the little fighter she is.

Happy first day of first grade, Evelyn! We are so proud of you!
