Good Afternoon,  

We wanted to check in and give everyone the latest update on Finley!  Finley is now a few weeks post transplant and doing great.  All of his levels continue to be in range.  They did go ahead and draw the plasma amino acid lab that we used to do with MSUD.  Our Metabolic Doctor was pleased to report that all of his labs were perfect.  So far the only adjustment we’ve had to make is with his immunosuppression drug, Tacro.  He continues to improve on eating which warrants the change.  He is going to transplant clinic on Mondays and Thursdays each week for general check ups and adjustments.  Although we do not know exactly, we are hoping to transition home sometime early February.  The first six months post transplant will require us to isolate a bit until his immune system can gain some traction.  We’ve been staying at the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas and have been blown away by the accomodations and warm hospitality of the staff. We continue to be blessed by the love and support of our family and tribe of friends.  We are forever grateful for the outpouring and sacrifices each of you have made for us.  We’ll continue to provide updates on Fin’s new journey and all of the triumphs he’s going to have!  For those of you that have followed Deion Sanders and his move to Colorado, I’ll leave you with the statement that everyone recognizes and Fin has adopted for his life, “I’m Coming”!
