Good Evening Everyone!

It’s been awhile since we’ve posted an update on Finley. Things have been extremely busy around the Strother household for sure. Finley had continued to be nothing short of miraculous. He is highly intelligent and has a adept ability for problem solving. He also has the memory of an elephant and can recite/recall things in vivid description. Reading books is one of his favorite things to do along with drawing art on his dry erase board. Outside, he’s enjoying playing baseball, mowing the lawn with his bubble mower and riding around on the 4-wheeler. Fin is stretching labs out to every eight weeks and all the results have looked fantastic. We anticipate reducing his anti-rejection medication again in September at his checkup with Childrens. Unless you knew Fin’s story, you would have no idea that this little boy had such a huge testimony! We are so grateful for everyone that continues to check in and ask about how he is doing. It’s hard to believe Fin will be turning 3 at the end of the month! We are also so excited that Finley will be a big brother this December. Maverick Strother will be joining the Strother gang on this adventure. We will soon undergo some preliminary testing to determine if Maverick will have the same condition as Finley. Here are the percentages: 25% chance Mav is not a carrier for the gene and does not have the MSUD, 50% chance Mav is a carrier for the gene and does not have MSUD, 25% chance Mav is a carrier for the gene and has MSUD. We pray for the best outcome and know that God will prepare the way just as he did with Finley.
