ER Trip & Treatment Update 3/22/26

Ela is scheduled to start the experimental Daratumumab treatment this Wednesday. These treatments will be weekly for the next 2 months. Our planned scenario is to come up on Tuesdays, infusion on Wednesday, observation on Thursday and home on Friday. Then, we will be home Saturday-Monday and repeat this weekly for the next 8 weeks. Then, the infusions will space out to bi-weekly for 3 more months.

We are headed to CHOP ER now though because Ela has been sick this last week on and off with symptoms that could mean infection, worsening rejection or something else. The team wants us to bring her in today to rule out things, to make sure her heart is ok and that her rejection isn’t worsening.

On another note, our 2 year old decided to add to the excitement this past week and stick his hand under a running treadmill. He has 2nd and 3rd degree burns. Pray his hand heals well and no infection.

Thanks for your prayers for all of our family. May God be glorified even in days of suffering.
