Celebrating God’s Goodness: Day 1

The Yustiz family (minus Noah) is on vacation! Woohoo!

We don’t take a vacation with our little warrior for granted so we are taking time each day to reflect on God’s goodness to our family over this last year.

As I hugged and kissed Noah goodbye when we dropped him off at Leslee’s parents, I couldn’t help thinking about how thankful I am for godly parents and godly in-laws. When Ela received her heart at the beginning of September last year, both, my parents and Leslee’s parents came to see Ela.

My mom and dad have been in Venezuela serving as missionaries for 18 years or so. Leslee’s parents have been at their current church for about 25 years and served at other churches before that. We are blessed that both sets of Ela’s grandparents are in ministry and we are thankful for their godly influence in our lives and our kids’ lives. God is good! “We will not hide them from their children, but tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the Lord, and his might, and the wonders that he has done.  (Psalm 78:4, ESV)”
