Gillian was one of the first in the OR this morning and she is the very last. Her bowel reconstruction is complete and the last step before closing everything up is the islet cell transplant. We are still waiting for the lab to isolate and purify the islet cells. All updates are good, Gillian is doing great! Just waiting for the next step.💜💜
