The last few days have been hard. While Gillian has made some progress she has also taken some steps back. She is off continuous IV meds, which makes walking around much easier without poles but she can’t do more than one lap without the pain making her stop. She did a flight of stairs which is huge. We watched some construction on the new tower. Notice the sweet note to kids on the crane. Gillian had her right drain removed, which might be more than some want to see *proceed with caution* The left drain is still in and that is where she has the majority of her pain. Once there is very little fluid coming out of that they will remove that drain, which will HOPEFULLY 🙏🏼 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 ease her pain. Her IV antibiotics have helped with her infection and she will be on them every 8 hrs until Friday afternoon. This has been harder than we expected with the set backs and my poor baby girl is really struggling. She could use your thoughts and prayers of encouragement. Thank you very much! Love you!
