We have been so spoiled! We had a full week with Lexi, Kim and Brad. They were here for Lexi’s surgical consultation. A full week of tests and procedures, it’s pretty brutal but Lexi is so tough and did amazing. Asi flew in the end of the week and we laughed so hard with these girls, we had so much fun and Gilli was pretty wiped out at the end of each day. She is doing so great & is already able to walk more, 1 month after her huge surgery, than she was able to before because of the pain. I am so moved by her strength and her ability to focus on the positives. These amazing girls all have pancreatitis, they met at Camp Hope, a camp created for kids with pediatric pancreatitis. It has been absolutely life changing for Gillian and our family. The support of the pancreatitis community has been everything over this past year. We have made life long friends and it got us to where we are now. 💜💜💜
