January 31, 2020 – Lots of things going on today. The most exciting thing is that Hope is most likely going to be interviewed on the Fox 19 News this Sunday?! I will post details once I have them. We have also finalized the benefit we are having for COTA in her honor on February 22nd @ Mt Lookout Tavern.
She needs these distractions because she still has one pesky chest tube & 2 different IVs. They won’t take the chest tube out because they’re hoping it will help with the lung collapse. They are still getting her heart rate adjusted with the IV medications. The goal is to get her heart to beat at the correct rate with only oral medications but that takes a while. We will be in the ICU until at least Tuesday because she has a cardiac catheter scheduled for Monday. She’s getting a little frustrated but we are keeping our eyes on the prize!! 82 days more until she can sleep in her own bed! ?? #hearts4hope
