February 4, 2020 – So long ICU! We are in a regular room now. It’s sooo much quieter. Her biopsy results came back with very little evidence of rejection! ???????? Even better news is that they’re talking about discharging us next Monday?!? Then we’re off to a hotel to wait on the end of the 90 days. We have some post-transplant education classes later this week to get ready. She still has a bit of an unsettled stomach & the lung collapse is still there but they’re hoping they will work themselves out. Unfortunately, now they are concerned that she might have a GI bug so we are not allowed to have any visitors yet. It still seems so unreal that all this has happened but she’s killing it! All her labs show her progress is also ahead of schedule, aww my little overachiever ????
