Today, we enjoyed being home together a little more. We soaked in every moment of family games of Runbow and Mario Kart, pumpkin carving, bedtime tuck-ins and just the comfort and security of home.Tomorrow our focus shifts and the medical world will take over. Jake has pre testing followed by a Cath on Tuesday. It’s a necessary step on this transplant journey but it’s a day I think we all have been quietly dreading. We put on brave faces but that day from two summers ago is still a little too close in our memories.So today, we cherished the little moments at home. Please say an extra prayer for Jake over the next few days for strength, faith, peace, and a successful procedure.
