Just wanted to share a quick progress update on Jake. He’s continuing to recover and was able to return to PT today.He’s still dealing with some soreness from the procedure, but the great news is that his cath site looks fantastic.The biggest win of the day: When Jake arrived at PT today at the Bradley University Physical Therapy Clinic, he was surprised by students from both his Thursday and Tuesday therapy groups. They were waiting with a “Very Jacob” Halloween gift that included his absolute favorites: Sweetarts and Ramen. It was exactly what he needed. It was the perfect pick-me-up after yesterday, when he was feeling pretty frustrated with the soreness in his leg and the emotional letdown that always seems to hit after the nerves of a big procedure.The Bradley clinic is an amazing resource that we absolutely love being a part of. We are so grateful for the way they care for Jake and build his confidence as he navigates this difficult journey. The students he has are going to make some AMAZING physical therapists!
