Jake and I made it to St. Louis safely for Jake’s procedure while Dan holds down the fort back at home! To keep things low-key, we’ve opted for a DoorDash dinner. Jake made the executive decision to go with Pop’s Kitchen for some of his favorite chicken wings and a night of watching Big Bang Theory.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you those whose generosity allows us the ability to give Jake the comfort and control of choosing special meals during these hospital trips. It makes the time much less dreaded and gives him a little bit of joy in an otherwise stressful situation.

We’ll have an early start tomorrow for his cath/biopsy and following appointments. We appreciate all the thoughts and prayers as we head into another procedure. I will make sure to post another update as soon as we have the results from the medical team.
