We just got the results from Jacob’s latest biopsies and labs. There were no signs of rejection. This is the big one. It means Jacob’s immune system and his heart and liver are currently living in total harmony. His DSA (Donor Specific Antibodies) were clear. A clear result means his body is fully accepting his gift of life. CMV & EBV were both negative. These are common viruses that can be tricky for transplant recipients. The precautions we are taking are enough. Jacob is staying healthy and his body is able to handle his medication regiment.

He is wonderfully pink, healthy, and strong. That “healthy glow” is the color of life, oxygen, and a future. He’s thriving.
