Today was a day 3 years in the making. For the first time, Jake stepped back up to the tee at the driving range! Even better, Ben and Addie were right there enjoying the time experience with him.
Since the summer of 2023, through cardiac arrests and recovery, heart failure fatigue, a PICC line, and a double transplant, getting back to this exact moment is something we have been looking forward to.
Today wasn’t about distance or perfect shots. It was a celebration of how tough Jake is and how far he’s come. Thank you all for staying with us through every step of this journey. Days like today make our hearts so full!
