His belly is starting to hold onto some fluid again. It’s definitely not as bad as it was before, but enough that his team wants to try to get ahead of it.

After some messaging with his team, he will be started on Lasix to hopefully help pull some of that extra fluid off, and he’ll have labs afterward to make sure his electrolytes are staying where they need to be.

If the Lasix doesn’t do the trick, he’ll likely need another paracentesis, and there’s a possibility those could become something he needs more regularly. 👎🏻So for now, we’re hoping the medicine works and keeps that little belly under control.
