So, I think he might have molded into that hard wooden chair today- LoL! Schoolwork and PS4 work in the same chair. The weather and the plague are preventing walks outside and in the hallways of the Ronald McDonald House.
No pain as of yet- So Thank God For That!
Food today- grapefruit, bagel and peanut butter, a big low again so apple juice and jolly ranchers (I think I counted carbs wrong for breakfast-oye!), ramen, bean enchiladas, corn, fruit pie, and chicken noodle soup. Drank plenty of sugar free powerade and water today.
PT- stairs and stretches.
Not going to lie, this carb counting thing is kind of easy to mess up and I’m not comfortable with relying on carb apps and Dr. Google especially for homemade foods. I called two momma experts today about childhood diabetes and they explained some things. I feel like its a necessity to get the Dexcom approved by our insurance and get in the diabetic loop.
We have lots of questions to ask our team of Docs tomorrow and Tuesday!
Weight is down one pound, temps are glorious, he’s been doing a great job of cleaning GJ site twice a day, meds are still through his tube so those are a breeze, and Joshua was hooked up almost on time tonight to run until 12:30 before I have to add new feeds to him.
The kid is definitely Built For Battle and now he has scars to show how incredibly strong he really is!
Pray for healing, a tad more activity, and mental peace for the rest of the week for us both PLEASE!
