Since Julia will have to stay in the hospital until she recieves a transplant, one of the biggest heartaches was not being able to see her dog, Owen. Anyone who has had the pleasure of meeting Owen knows that along with being extremely goofy and fun, he is also very snuggly and one of the most lovable dogs you will ever meet. Like any other dog owner, Julia was missing quality time with Owen immensely. 

However, Julia got a very pleasent surprise today when Owen came up to the hospital for a visit, brining lots of love with him! 

It’s very difficult to make a home out of a hospital room. But in Julia’s situation, the age old saying rings true, “Home is where your dog is.”
