On Thursday, August 18 Kaiden’s lab work came back with some concerning levels. Doctors took a biopsy of his liver and found moderate to severe signs of rejection. 

Kaiden has received five rounds of high dose steroids to combat the rejection, however his levels are still elevated and rising. 

Doctors performed a sonogram and another biopsy and we are waiting to see if anything has changed.
