Today Lavender had her monthly endoscopy with banding procedure.  It went well, and she is home resting and sleeping now.  Dr. Gregory banded 2 small varices.  He said that he’s hopeful that when we come back in 4 weeks to do the next one that there may not be any new varices to band.  That would be incredible news, but I’m still a little pessimistic about it, since he has said that before and they were actually much worse afterward.   It will be what it is.  All we can do is keep putting one foot in front of the other and hope that she can get her transplant soon.
