Liam’s 10th Heartfest Celebration! We are so excited to be hosting another Heartfest! As we embark on the New Year it seems everyone feels refreshed and rejuvenated and ready to plan and experience new events. April 19, 2024 marks ten years since Liam received a life saving heart transplant. We are having a celebration at the Powerhouse Science Center in Durango. I can’t believe 10 years have passed. Liam is a young man who reached double digits this past November as a ten year old and is currently a student in the 4th grade. Liam shares his thoughts on about Pokemon cards, his favorite premier soccer team or maybe the dubious Broncos. He lives his life as any 10 year old might but only gives a hint of his ten year journey if someone asks about scar on his chest or maybe his PEG tube in his stomach. For Liam, life is about living life to best of his abilities! Can’t wait to celebrate this day with him, family and friends!
