We had an amazing Celebration at the Powerhouse Science Center in Durango, Colorado on April 19, 2024. This event was to acknowledge Liam receiving the amazing gift of a heart, as well as, to celebrate Liam and his family’s ten year journey and to do some fundraising.

We had over 130 guests in attendance. Some family and friends traveled as far away as Alaska, Oregon, New Mexico and Denver, CO to join us. We had a drawing to support COTA with many fun prizes donated from local businesses in Durango. We also, enjoyed music and had one of Liam’s favorite food, pizza! The Powerhouse was a great setting as adults could mingle and enjoy the music while their kids played with all the fun interactive learning toys in the Powerhouse.

What a journey it has been over these last ten years; we look back on the challenges and the triumphs remembering the tears, the joy, and the growth that Liam and his family has gone through.
