Magnolia’s Journey Continues to Make a Difference.

Sometimes, the impact of a journey reaches far beyond what we could have ever imagined.
Back in April, as Magnolia was fighting through her second round of chemotherapy, her mom applied for a grant through her employer, Movement Mortgage, on behalf of the St. Jude Affiliate Clinic at Novant Health Hemby Children’s Hospital. The hope was to find a way to turn everything her family was experiencing into something that could make a difference for other families walking a similar road.
That application resulted in a $10,000 grant, and incredibly, the grant was awarded right around the time Magnolia received her liver transplant.
Today, her family had the absolute honor of visiting Movement Mortgage as a family to officially present the check and celebrate this meaningful contribution.
What an incredible way to begin the month of October! A moment that represents so much more than a donation. It represents hope, compassion, and the opportunity to help other families who may find themselves facing a childhood cancer diagnosis and the overwhelming journey that comes with it.
When Magnolia was diagnosed, her family never imagined all that would unfold. The treatments, the transplant, the hospital stays, the challenges, and the countless prayers that have carried us through. While her journey is still ongoing, moments like today remind us that even in the hardest seasons, something beautiful can grow.
We are so grateful to Movement Mortgage for providing opportunities like this and for allowing Magnolia’s story to become part of something bigger than our own family.
Our prayer is that this gift will bring comfort, support, and hope to families who need it most.
Magnolia’s story is still being written, and we are so thankful that even along the difficult chapters, her journey is making a difference in the lives of others.
God has a way of turning some of our hardest seasons into opportunities to bless others. Today was a beautiful reminder of that.
One journey. Countless prayers. And a growing impact.
To God be all the glory!

Incontables oraciones. Y un impacto que continúa creciendo.
¡A Dios sea toda la gloria!
