Tues morning Marshall is hanging in there like a champ. Little bumps in the road but overall doing really well. He tried to wake up a little bit, he was squeezing my hand and I asked him if he wanted to hold Wyatt’s hand and he shook his head no. I asked him if he was ok and he shook his head no. I told him to relax and the nurse was going to give him more medicine and he calmed down while they increased his pain meds and sedated him more. Hopefully he is going to get his chest closed today and get to wake up again, but I am guessing he’s going to be pretty pissed off when he wakes up… and rightfully so!! Hoping, and focusing on a great day for Mars Bar, prayers of thanks to our donor hero.
