Sabrina has had to endure a lot of tough “firsts” — her first ambulance ride, her first CT scan (which the nurse optimistically hoped she could “hold still” for), and her first central line.

But this week we got to celebrate a sweeter kind of first: her first solid food! She’s game for a lick of mashed up banana but still reserving judgment.

We are still waiting, hoping, praying, and finding happiness in the little things.
