The last few days have been a little bumpy for our girl.
Sabrina’s been dealing with a minor cold, along with some swelling in her hands and feet. The good news is her care team isn’t concerned that it’s related to her heart — her heart and lungs sound great, and she’s still very much her happy little self.
They’ve stopped one medication to see if this could be a drug reaction, and for now they’re watching closely.
Because of her cold, we’ve been staying in her room and taking a pause on hallway walks. Santa was still able to visit, even if it had to be from the doorway — not quite how we imagined it, but still a moment we’ll hold onto.
This season continues to look different than we imagined, but we’re grateful for steady news, gentle moments, and all the love surrounding Sabrina.
