There are people who show up in ways you don’t expect—and it stays with you.

One of my close friends, along with her family at The Mill of Arkdale put together a Valentine’s Day fundraiser for Sabrina.

And the part that means the most… they just did it.

I didn’t plan it. I didn’t ask. I didn’t even know it was happening until the day before, when a friend of my stepdad’s saw Sabrina’s photo hanging at the bar and called him.

They just decided to show up for her.

And it wasn’t just people we know—it was an entire community who doesn’t even know us, choosing to care anyway. That kind of support hits you in a way that’s hard to explain. It makes you believe in the good.

Because this is who you showed up for – A little girl still fighting, still sweet, and still getting moments like this in between everything else.

So to The Mill of Arkdale and everyone who showed up—thank you. Truly. We will never forget it.
