I’ve been remiss in updating and have been getting a lot of questions so I figured it was time to put something out! Delia is doing very well. She is currently twirling outside with her new puppy playing in Oregon “snow” (large slushy flakes). Her blood numbers continue to be encouraging and we are beyond happy. Delia has grown a few inches in the last 9 months and has more than gained back all the weight she lost in the hospital. I am not sure I will ever be able to scrub the image from my mind of her poor ribs and elbows and knees sticking out from her skin, but you would never know that’s what she looked like less than a year ago. We have upgraded to only seeing the doctor every three months and hardly hear from them at all these days. She’s still getting blood draws every month. We only have TWO more breathing treatments at OHSU, which we are both thrilled about. All in all, we are doing well. She is doing well.
