She is a rockstar if there ever was one. The surgeon today said that although her surgery was challenging, it felt more like a first transplant than a second one. By 3pm today they were taking her breathing tube out, another HUGE win for so early in recovery. However, they accidently took the feeding tube out with it so she will have to undergo another procedure! She has managed several eye rolls and even some sarcasm, so you know she is ready to fight. Here’s hoping the good news keeps on coming!
