Well it’s that time again… I am back in the hospital, poo poo 🙁
I had been feeling extra fatigued the last couple weeks, more short of breath, coughing up blood, and losing weight. Not a pretty sight. Pretty much crappy.
So medical team and I decided it was time for some IV antibiotics.
Thankfully I don’t have to have an IV line placed because I have a mediport, a device planted in my chest that can be accessed to receive IV medicine (powerful antibiotics for me).
I will be here for at least two weeks, hopefully that’s it!!!
I’ve got plenty to keep me occupied, currently reading Alice in Wonderland, but mostly just resting. All the medicines make my body tired, sometimes nauseous. The evil necessaries.
Just makes me appreciate all the small things that much more, even, dare I say it…doing the dishes.

…and speaking of hospitals, did you know why the blonde (or brunette, or redhead; whichever doesn’t upset anyone) nurse took a red marker to her shift at the hospital? She was afraid she might have to draw blood. Hee hee. Hang in there, kiddo! We’re all with you!
